My new toy came yesterday. Eddie officially broke my old one. It was on it's last leg, but when Eddie moved the couch and it fell off the edge of the table, that last drop sent it to it's final death.
That was not the only thing that was so good yesterday. Brian woke up happy, got dressed on his own and even brushed his teeth. All without a fuss, whine, or meltdown. Then I got this email from Mrs. Halter. I am so proud of my little buddy.
We also got a great report at the dentist. The dental hygienist said he was doing a great job keeping his teeth clean. We are going to put sealants on his new 6 year old molars in a few weeks.
I treated him to an oreo cookie shake at Chick fil a. We went and played on his old school playground. It is the perfect size for Emily, and totally safe for Danielle.
Then I took Brian to his martial arts class. The kids are attending a Primary activity on Saturday which is at the same time as his class so he won't be able to go then. It was painful for me to watch. Brian is totally goofy. They say he does much better with his dad, I hope so!
Finally, we headed over to the church, for a cub scout planning meeting. I stopped by the house and picked up a frozen pizza. I made the kids pizza for dinner in the oven at the church and Eddie's mom watched them for an hour. What a busy day!

Brian had a GREAT day today! Very cooperative, listened and followed directions well and was a good helper. He did well on his journal page today- so I copied it and you should see it in his folder. Thought it would be good for you all to see. He should also have a booklet of different types of sentences he has worked on during learning center time and the bird homework we discussed.
Thanks,
Shelly Halter
